Many conventional caravans are assembled using a separate frame, exterior panels, mouldings, mechanical fasteners and multiple sealed joins. Each connection forms part of the structure and may also become an area requiring inspection and maintenance over time.
Harvok takes a different approach. The full-aluminium body is formed and robotically welded into one integrated monocoque shell, allowing the body itself to perform as the structural frame.

Less Reliance on the Parts That Traditionally Need Attention.
Traditional caravan bodies commonly use long panel joins, external J-moulds, screws, mechanical fasteners and sealant to connect major exterior sections.
Harvok’s welded monocoque body reduces reliance on these traditional construction methods across the main shell. With fewer external body joins and fewer sealant-dependent seams, owners have fewer traditional areas to monitor as the caravan ages.
This does not make any caravan maintenance-free. Seals around fitted windows, doors, roof equipment, plumbing and other installed components must still be inspected and maintained.

Gas-Free Design Changes More Than the Kitchen.
Harvok’s integrated 48V electric system supports induction cooking and electric appliances without relying on an onboard LPG cooking system.
Removing LPG appliances can also remove the need for certain permanent gas-appliance ventilation openings associated with conventional gas installations. Combined with the aluminium monocoque body, this can help reduce unnecessary external openings and support a more controlled interior environment.

Harvok’s monocoque method allows the structural body and exterior profile to be developed together. Rather than treating the caravan as a rectangular body with styling added afterwards, the shell incorporates vehicle-inspired curves designed to manage airflow around the caravan.

What is a monocoque caravan?
A monocoque caravan has a body shell that performs a structural role, rather than relying only on a separate frame to carry loads. In Harvok’s case the full-aluminium body is robotically welded into one integrated structural shell.
How is a Harvok body different from a traditionally built caravan?
Traditional caravans are commonly assembled from a separate frame with multiple attached panels, mouldings, fasteners and sealed joins. A Harvok body is an integrated, welded aluminium shell, so there are fewer traditional external body joins across the main body.
Is Harvok’s construction method patented?
Harvok’s aluminium monocoque construction is a Harvok-exclusive, patent-protected method. Is the complete caravan made from one piece of aluminium?
No. “One-piece body” describes the integrated, welded shell of the main body, not a single sheet of aluminium. The finished caravan also includes a chassis, suspension, windows, doors, fittings and interior components.
Does a Harvok use no screws, bolts or sealant?
