Harvok is proud to announce the opening of our new Central Manufacturing Hub at 61 Greenhills Road, Pakenham, Victoria.
Officially operational from 1 June 2026, the new purpose-built, 7,576m² facility represents a major milestone in Harvok’s continued growth and long-term investment in Australia.
As demand for Harvok caravans continues to increase, the Pakenham facility brings our key Australian manufacturing, installation, quality-control and delivery-preparation operations together under one roof.
More than simply a new building, it represents the next stage of Harvok’s evolution as we expand our team, improve production efficiency and prepare to support more Harvok owners throughout Australia.
One central location for greater consistency
Previously, a range of manufacturing, preparation and workshop functions were carried out across our Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane locations.
Bringing these operations together in Pakenham allows our showroom teams to concentrate on helping customers while our dedicated manufacturing team focuses on producing, testing and preparing every caravan to a consistent standard.
Key operations completed at the Central Manufacturing Hub include:
- Final caravan assembly
- Full suspension and wheel installation
- Appliance installation
- Additional customer option installation
- Quality-control inspections
- Internal compliance checks
- Electrical, mechanical and appliance testing
- Pre-delivery inspection and preparation
- Parts storage and distribution
- Warranty and service work
This centralised approach provides greater oversight throughout the final stages of production and helps ensure every Harvok receives the same attention to detail before delivery.
Combining specialised production with Australian completion
Harvok caravans are built using a specialised, automotive-style production process.
The caravan’s robotically welded structural body, chassis and core internal systems are produced through Harvok’s dedicated overseas manufacturing operation. This requires specialised robotic welding equipment, production tooling and expertise developed specifically for Harvok’s unique construction method.
Once the structural caravan arrives at Pakenham, our Australian team completes the remaining assembly, suspension and wheel installation, appliance fitting, customer-selected upgrades, quality inspections, testing and final delivery preparation.
This production model allows Harvok to combine advanced, highly specialised manufacturing technology with local Australian quality control, technical expertise and customer support.
It also enables us to maintain production of approximately 300 caravans annually, helping Harvok respond to growing customer demand while maintaining control over the final stages of every build.
A comprehensive quality-control process
Every Harvok progresses through a documented inspection and sign-off process before it is approved for delivery.
The quality-control process covers critical areas including:
- Suspension, running gear and wheel installation
- Electrical system operation
- Appliance installation and functionality
- Interior cabinetry, fixtures and finishes
- Doors, windows and external fittings
- Customer-selected options and upgrades
- Final presentation and pre-delivery preparation
Any item requiring attention is recorded and addressed before the caravan receives final approval.
By completing these checks through one dedicated facility, Harvok can establish greater consistency, clearer accountability and a more efficient handover process across its national showroom network.
Supporting Australian compliance
The Pakenham team also carries out internal compliance checks and reviews as part of the final production process, with formal regulatory administration managed elsewhere within the Harvok business.
Under Australia’s Road Vehicle Standards framework, caravans must meet the applicable national road vehicle standards and be entered on the Register of Approved Vehicles before they can be supplied to the Australian market for the first time. Vehicle type approval holders must also demonstrate control over the design, componentry and manufacturing processes used to consistently produce compliant vehicles.
Centralising inspections, testing and documentation supports a more structured approach to these responsibilities and helps provide customers with greater confidence in the preparation of their caravan.
Located at the heart of Victoria’s caravan industry
Pakenham was selected because of its access to skilled workers, major transport routes, freight infrastructure, suppliers and Victoria’s established caravan-manufacturing industry.
The location also provides the space needed to support future expansion as Harvok continues growing throughout Australia.
Several important Harvok suppliers maintain manufacturing, warehousing, distribution or service operations in Victoria. Trailparts operates from Campbellfield, Aussie Traveller has a Melbourne office and fitment centre, and CAMEC maintains significant Victorian warehousing and business operations.
The hub also provides efficient national freight connections for components supplied by partners headquartered elsewhere, including REDARC in South Australia and Cruisemaster in Queensland.
This improved access helps reduce unnecessary freight movements, improves parts availability and allows Harvok to work more efficiently with trusted Australian and international brands, including:
REDARC, Cruisemaster, Trailparts, Aussie Traveller, Dometic, Victron and CAMEC.
By partnering with recognised component and appliance manufacturers, Harvok owners benefit from proven products supported by established technical, warranty and service networks.
Creating new opportunities for our growing team
The Central Manufacturing Hub currently supports a team of approximately 10 to 15 employees, with further growth planned.
As production increases, Harvok expects to expand across areas including:
- Manufacturing and assembly

- Administration and operations
